The Reyhall Racing Team recently registered their first, second, third and then their fourth feature win. That’s four in a row!

About five years ago, the Reyburn and Hall families in western Illinois formed Reyhall Racing. Initially, the team competed in TQ Midget competition. The team was unhappy with the declining car count, high priced non0standard car components and the problems of being part of a self-governed race organization. After two years, the team moved into Legends and racing because fo the consistent rules, availability of affordable car components, large national car count and an endless number of tracks and events.

The first two years were learning years for the team. Participating weekly at the local track in Davenport, IA, the team learned much about car setup and handling. They ran with limited success until enlisting Chris Springer as driver. Chris, now seventeen, was the Legends Young Lions Dirt Champion at the age of 14. He had also finished second in points at Davenport behind Keith Moline, Pro National Dirt Champion. During 2001, Chris was able to run very close to Keith – but never win – capturing 12 top five finishes.

This year, however, the tide has turned and Reyhall Racing and Chris have won the last four consecutive races at Davenport Speedway. The team is off to a great start, having fun and enjoying the Legends format of racing.
