1. What made you get into racing?

I tried a go-kart when I was four and then I quit for a while because I was getting frustrated with it. But then after I took a break for a while I told my dad I wanted to continue racing again so then we found Bandoleros and that's how I got started here.

2. What is your favorite thing about racing?

Being on the track. I like the feeling of freedom it gives me.

3. Why did you choose the number on your car?

Because people say it’s an unlucky number and I wanted to prove to them that it actually can be a lucky and winning number.

4. What is your favorite track to race at and why?

My favorite track to race at is Cordele [Motor Speedway] because I don’t have to let off the gas so I can just go as fast as I want the whole race.

5. What has been your favorite memory since you started racing?

My favorite memory probably has to be my very first win at Charlotte this year, or even just all of my wins I have gotten here at Charlotte. I have been able to prove myself as a driver and get a few big wins which helped push me up to the next division.

6. What advice would you give to someone that is wanting to get into racing?

I would tell them to just have fun and don’t take it too seriously.

7. If you weren’t racing right now what do you think you would be doing?

I would be racing on iRacing. I love racing so I would still want it to be a part of my life in some way even if I wasn’t in an actual car.

8. What goals have you set for yourself as a driver?

Well my first goal was to move up to Outlaws, but now my goal is to just get a win in Outlaws.

9. Were you excited to get moved up to Outlaws?

Sort of, but I was also a little bit nervous because I knew the competition was going to be tougher.

10. How do you balance racing with school and other parts of your life?

My dad has set some rules for me. So his rules are that school work comes first so it has to be finished before I am allowed to race. I also have to keep my grades up or I will have to stop racing.

11. What are your long term goals for racing?

I want to get to NASCAR, which I feel like is the dream for every driver. But, if that doesn’t happen then I want to start racing late models.

12. Who is your biggest inspiration in racing?

My dad.

13. What is the biggest obstacle you’ve had to overcome in racing?

So far, I would say sickness. In Nashville I got a really bad headache and it just ruined my whole race.

14. How has racing changed your life?

Racing has made me more focused, and it has given me something to work towards.

15. How has your season been so far, and do you have any goals for the rest of it?

It's been good so far, and my goal is to just continue getting better.

16. What is one word that you would use to describe your racing style?

Impatient. I would just say this because I always want to be at the front so I get really impatient and try and make passes at not the best times so I end up wrecking myself and the other drivers. But, I have started to learn from my mistakes because being impatient has definitely cost me.

17. What is your greatest motivation in racing?

To get to the next step, I'm always looking forward to what's next and how I can get better.

18. What other cars have you driven besides Bandoleros?

Side by sides and go karts.

19. What has been your favorite Summer Shootout memory so far?

When I went side by side with Corbin, that was pretty fun. Also, battling with Corbin and Roo which ended up getting me spun out but it was still a fun time.

20. What has it meant to you to get some wins at Summer Shootout?

It has definitely made me a lot more confident in myself and my driving abilities and shown me that I can keep getting better.
