INEX Racing Series is proud to announce that AFCO, the Official Racing Shocks of U.S. Legend Cars International, has been named the title sponsor of the Fastest Qualifier Award for the 2024 Cook Out Summer Shootout at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Each week the driver with the fastest qualifying time in all eight divisions will be awarded the AFCO Fastest Qualifier Award at the conclusion of their qualifying session.
“Since joining the U.S. Legend Cars family in 2023, AFCO has quickly grown to be one of our best partners,” said GE Chapman, Vice President of Racing Operations & Manufacturing. “We’re very excited to have AFCO join the Cook Out Summer Shootout as the title sponsor for the Fastest Qualifier Award, highlighting the hard work our drivers and their crews put towards making their cars the best on track each and every week.”
Drivers in the Bandolero Bandits and Outlaws, and Legend Car Young Lions, Semi-Pro, Masters, and Pro Divisions will continue to receive three points towards the Cook Out Summer Shootout Championship in their respective division for being the fastest qualifier.
The 2024 Cook Out Summer Shootout begins on Monday, June 10, followed by round two on Tuesday, June 11. The action will be aired on FloRacing beginning at 6pm ET with grandstands at Charlotte opening at 5pm ET. Additional race dates will be June 18 and 25, July 1, July 2, July 9, July 16, July 23, and July 30.
