1. What was your biggest road course challenge of 2024?
I would say the change of competition from the Semi-Pro to the Pro division. There is a lot of talent in this division and it took a couple of races at the Charlotte Winter Heat series to understand just how close all the competitors were.
2. What is your favorite road course memory of the 2024 season?
My favorite road course memory this season was when I won a 10-lap Pro/Master division race at NHMS. We had the car dialed in and I was able to pull away from the field, get clean air and drive away, winning by over 15 seconds!
3. How does it feel to be a Pro Division national champion like Shaun Buffington?
It feels incredible!!! This is my first year as a Pro driver and together with Shaun and my Dad, we worked hard to achieve this goal. Shaun is an amazing mentor and I have learned so much from him in the past 3 years. I am humbled to be part of a group that shares the stage with a teammate like Shaun.
4. What was it like balancing asphalt oval racing with your road course schedule?
It was certainly challenging at times, but it is so much fun traveling to a lot of tracks I have never been to before. Road Course races were more spread out which gave us the opportunity to do more oval racing this year. Honestly, regardless of what type of race it is, the best part of racing is the time I get to spend with my Dad, family and teammates at the track!
