1. What does winning the 2024 Bandolero Bandits INEX National Championship mean to you?

It feels so good to win the championship after coming so close last year. This was my main goal for the season and I was so glad my team and I were able to accomplish it. We worked really hard to win this and I feel I have the best team out there. They provided me with a fast car every time I hit the track. The bond that I have with Mike and Corey is indescribable.

2. What motivations did you have after coming so close to winning in 2023?

I knew that I needed to get better and better if I wanted to win this championship. I wanted to race as much as I could to get the most seat time to learn more and more.

3. What was your biggest challenge during the 2024 season?

My biggest challenge was Nationals weekend. We raced on Friday and I had a DNF due to a mechanical failure and I knew I could not let that get in my head and get me down. I knew I had to come out strong on Saturday if I wanted to win the championship.

4. What was your favorite memory from the 2024 season?

Winning nationals. It was a great memory for my family, team, and friends. We didn’t let Friday affect how Saturday went.

5. A perfect 2,000-point season, how difficult was it to achieve a perfect season?

It was very difficult but it was also very fun and rewarding. Mike and Corey put a lot of time in my cars and to be able to go out there and win this with a perfect season is so awesome.

6. What is next for Wyatt Coffey’s racing journey?

I plan to race legends and both asphalt and dirt late models. I have been running my dirt Latemodel and have picked up a win and plan to continue to learn and get better in everything i drive. I love racing and I just want to race anything I can.
